Your safari begins early in the morning with a pickup from your lodge in Arusha or Moshi. Set out on a scenic drive toward Tarangire National Park, carrying packed lunch boxes for a full day in the wild.

Spend the day exploring Tarangire’s rolling countryside, dotted with majestic baobab trees and riverine woodlands. The park is renowned for hosting some of North Tanzania's largest elephant herds. As the Tarangire River winds through the landscape, observe lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests congregating around its waters and seasonal swamps. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge in Karatu to relax, dine, and unwind.

Keep your eyes peeled for resident predators—including lions, leopards, and cheetahs—alongside vast migratory herds of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes. Arrive at your luxury tented camp in time to settle in for dinner beneath the stars.

Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon to rest up for an early descent into the crater the following morning.
